Redditch and Bromsgrove Talking Newspaper provides a ‘Free’ weekly audio programme for the sight impaired or anyone who has a disability which precludes reading of the written word. Each week we cover local news on social matters, the community, safety, environment, transport and leisure from Redditch, Bromsgrove, Alcester, Droitwich and the wider Worcestershire area.

We enjoy receiving the Talking Newspaper. So many of our resident’s face challenges with their vision and mobility and having access to news in an audio format has made a significant difference in their daily lives. The Talking Newspaper Service provides weekly audio recordings, delivered on USB, featuring news read from local publications. This auditory format is a significant benefit for our residents, who have a range of care needs, and we wanted to ensure that we meet these needs.
