Across a spectrum of ages our listeners come from a broad range of backgrounds but have one thing in common; for various reasons they have difficulty reading a newspaper. This could be because of sight impairment or some other disability which precludes the turning of the pages.
The Redditch and Bromsgrove Talking Newspaper reaches out to individuals at home and to residents in care homes.

A player can be provided free issue. We then send a recording of each weekly edition on a USB stick. Once the listener has finished listening to each edition, the USB stick is then returned to us by reusing the original wallet. Postage is free. If you or someone you know, would like to listen via the USB stick, please contact us to discuss.

You will need to access via the Alexa App.
Then just say ’Alexa, open Talking Newspaper.’
Voice prompts will ask you for the name of the Talking Newspaper that you want to listen to.
To stop listening just say, ‘Alexa Cancel.’
